#How the module is organized

Rooms are the physical inventory; Rate Plans price them (by season, length of stay, channel). Reservations books a Room under a Rate Plan for a date range; the Reservation Calendar gives a visual view of occupancy across all rooms.

#Where to start

1. Set up Rooms and at least one Rate Plan before Reservations has anything to book.
2. Use the Reservation Calendar to spot overbooking risk visually, rather than checking Reservations one at a time.
3. A Rate Plan can be date-ranged for seasonal pricing — check its validity dates if a rate looks wrong.
